Dogs Gone Bad                                                         By: Robert Redmond

In the town of Deer Park, Rottweilers and Pit bulls have gone on a rampage attacking the local populace. There have been numerous assaults as recently. One in particular is when Rottweilers attacked a retired Marine and broke numerous bones in his hands. The owner of the Rottweiler is still unknown to authorities. My opinion is that when the dogs are found they should be put down or attempt rehabilitation but if the damage is done already the best chance is to put the dogs down. Another incident is when a man named Andy Wise had to hold off a local pit bull with the handle of an ax until the police came to help. Citizens are now carrying golf club's and other weapons to keep themselves from danger. I believe that if the animals are not stopped a death toll could start which I believe could lead to termination of many local animals.

My Pet Geckoes
By: James Bogdanski

I used to have 3 pet geckoes.  They were named after the three stooges.  I know, it's funny, but my Mom thought of those names.  They were really small.
They all died because of either dehydration or because the crickets I fed them bit them.  They were sometimes bad, and bit each other.  The geckoes never bit me though.
Geckoes are like lizards, except that they sometimes change their color of their skin, depending on the type of environment they are at.  As I said before, they eat crickets.
I sometimes saw them eat the crickets, it is disgusting, because I actually heard the geckoes eat the crickets.
To take care of geckoes, first make sure you buy some type of glass tank for them. Second, put some type of flooring at the bottom of the tank, for example, woodchips or grass, or both.
Third, put some objects in the tank, like a small log.  Now, put the bowl of water in the tank, be sure it is filled with clean water, otherwise the geckoes will not drink out of it and they will dehydrate.
When you buy the crickets do not put too many crickets in because the more crickets you put in, the more the geckoes rush to eat all of them.
You should clean out the tank from time to time because they really do stink after a while, believe me.

Great White Shark

                                 By: Jeff Townson
The great white shark is a powerful shark. They are very aggressive. The females are the largest.  Great whites swim by the shore because the water is warmer near the shore. Sometimes the great white seems to like the warm water though they are more commonly found in cooler waters. In Africa and Australia there are lots of sharks by the coast and out side the coast. When the shark teeth fall out a new one's are all ready thereto replace them. Sharks weigh about 7300 pounds, that's over 3 tons. The great white shark eats anything. Some people that studied the inside of the shark's stomach found licenses plates, fish, hooks, rocks and parts of barrels. Sharks produce an egg but it remains in the mother until they hatch and then they break out They only have one baby or pup at a time. "Pup" is the term that some people use.  The great white shark like's to eat things that are high in fat like elephant seals and seals because they give them energy. They don't like humans because they don't have a lot of fat to give them a lot of energy.  They say the great white shark can live to 30 to 40 years. To me that is a long time for a the great white shark to live.
