Dear Cunkev,
A co-worker of mine is a real pain, doesn't work, doesn't listen, completely disregards other peoples' thoughts, and tries to run the class. A large faction of the class is fed up.
What should I do?

  //342//

Dear //342//,
I understand how this could be a problem. My suggestion is that you speak with the supervisor, but if you fear that the kid will beat you up, you could send your messages through someone you trust to the supervisor.  If this is true that a large faction of the class has a problem with this co-worker, maybe you could petition for a redress of grievances. Good Luck in what you need to do.

Dear Cunkev,
My mother is angry with me because she says that I have an attitude. She thinks that I have an attitude because my sister thought that I was blowing at her face when I stopped. So I screamed in her face. My mother sent everybody home and I got in trouble. How can I not get in so much trouble?

  Taxi

Dear Taxi,
It seems that you may need to work on your anger. If you have constant problems, maybe you should go to therapy. It's just a suggestion, but it could help. You could also find other ways to channel your frustration such as: video games, bike riding, reading, painting, watching TV or any other medium of relaxation.

Dear Cunkev
My eight-year-old brother acts like a jerk and every time I try to get along with him he acts stupid and gets me in trouble and never tells the truth. What should I do?

  DeJoHi

Dear DeJoHi,
It is very likely that your brother loves you very much, but doesn't know how to express himself. It could also be that he is angry with you, or he even is too young to understand that he loves you and doesn't get the concept. You say that he gets stupid; it could be his way of playing with you. Just relax and don't get too ticked.

Dear Kevin,
I have a ring that my mother gave me for Christmas and I value greatly.  Unfortunately, I have a nervous habit of taking the ring off my finger and playing with it.  On several occasions I almost lost my ring.  Do you have suggestions about how I might stop my nervous habit before I lose my ring?
Sincerely, Nervous in Nebraska

Dear Nervous,
I suggest that you do something to take your mind off of your ring when you want to play with it. Do something such as playing a game, painting a picture, reading a book, or having a conversation. Do whatever you can to take your mind off of your desire.

Dear Cunkev,
I am too much of an egomaniac, what do I do?
  D12
Dear D12,
I have the same problem some of the time. But I bring myself back to reality by assuring myself that I am not all I make myself out to be, and I realize that I am human and equal to all of the rest of what I aspire to be superior to. It takes time and work but I did it and so can you.
