As with all living things, snakes also need water. You also need to clean the water bowl if it is dirty because like us, they do not like to drink dirty water. The best place to put the bowl of water is in a flat spot where the water won't drip out of the bowl. Snakes don't like to be in filthy places, so, you also should clean out the tank that it is in. Please be sure to take the snake out of the tank so that it won't feel like it is crowded in there. To clean out the tank, first, you need to take everything out of it, including the snake, and all you need is soap and warm water to clean the glass part. Then, you need to clean out the bottom and make sure you put whatever it is that you took out and get new bedding for the bottom of the tank and pour the new one in, not a lot, and not a little, just enough so it would fit just right. When the snake needs to digest its food, you really should start cleaning it out of the cage, otherwise, it will make your room smell and it doesn't smell good, believe me, I had a pet snake once. You should start moving all kinds of objects in the tank so the snake wouldn't get bored in its environment and it could explore more. There are all kinds of snakes. I will first name a few constrictors. There are anacondas, the largest snakes on earth. There are also boas and ball pythons, which are in the same scientific family. There is also the gray-banded milk snake, which is a slender colorblind snake found in the Trans-Pecos/Chihuahua Desert regions of West Texas and Northern Mexico, and Northern Pine that's the snake I used to have. It is a constrictor, otherwise, I wouldn't have listed it in here. There are also very venomous snakes, I will also name some of these, there are the Cobras, the most popular venomous snakes on earth, there's diamondbacks, the rattlers, there are the vipers, and there are also water moccasins. Snakes have a lot of habits, the first habit they have is hunting. When snakes hunt, they use various techniques, hiding places, they use speed and accuracy, camouflage, and senses, they also have the ability to dislocate their jaws. Snakes sleep wherever they feel comfortable, of course, snakes eyes stay open while they sleep, so be careful if you see a wild snake not moving. Snakes also shed their skin. They do this by rubbing their dead skin over a tree and sliding their way out of their old skin. They are helpless once they start shedding, they cannot defend themselves because they are currently involved in this process. There are all kinds of attack techniques for snakes. Snakes could hide under rocks, under piles of leaves, |

Otters swim. They like the water. Otters eat fish. They are brown and kind of black. Some of them are black brown and white. I like otters. They look kind, fuzzy, and wet. I saw an otter before. I saw it at the Philadelphia Zoo. My sister liked it. That was my first time seeing a otter. I saw people feeding the otters. That was very cool. The otters were eating a lot of food. My sister and I were watching the otters eat. I liked that part too! It was very exciting. The otters would come out of the water and on to rocks in their cage or container. They had a lot of water in there. That part was cool too! I want to go back again some day! So does my sister! |
