Eye on Tomorrow Vol. 3 Iss. 1 Music Mania

My opinion of Eminem is that he is the best music artist I ever heard and my favorite compact disc is "The Eminem Show". On this CD he mentions several political figures such as Mrs. Cheney and Tipper Gore. He also discusses anthrax, The World Trade Center attack, racism, and drug use. He uses numerous issues from his life as a child and his life now, and including his ex-wife Kim. There are two songs where D-12 and Obie Trice collaborate with Eminem. These songs are "Drips" and "Till I Collapse". Eminem's new CD is different from his old style of music were he rapped about homosexuals and drugs. Now in the song "White America" he raps about congress and the President. He went through a complete metamorphoses from rapping about committing crimes such as murder, drug use, and illegal weapons use, to telling people what he thinks about his wife, and includes his daughter, Hailey, in his songs.

This summer there are some exciting concerts to look out for in your area. Some of the tours are awesome. People come from near and far to see these bands. Some of the tours are Ozzfest 2002, Up in Smoke, Warped Tour, and Anger Management Tour. These tours are all accommodated with spectacular artists.

Ozzfest has a wide variety of artists. Ozzy Osborne, P.O.D., System of a Down, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Adema, Hate Breed, Mushroomead, and other exciting bands. The set up a 3 stage concert and in the middle is the biggest mosh pit imaginable. This tour was started by Ozzy.

Up in Smoke tour is always an exciting collaboration of rappers. This has been an good tour for the past few years. They have Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and Warren G. It is a very intense meeting of rappers. The 2002 tour is not as hyped up as it was in prior years. This is still an amazing tour though.

The Warped Tour is sponsored by Vans. This is a Punk style of music. The bands at this tour are about the fans. Not only are there bands, but they also have biking and skateboarding events. Some of the Bands are Bigwig, NOFX, MXPX, and New Found Glory. There are lots of new hot young bands like Finch.

The Anger Management Tour was started for all the people that don't know how to deal with their anger. They can go to this tour and have other people like themselves around them to deal with anger. It consists of Eminem, Papa Roach, and Xibit, which are older groups. This year they have brought Ludicrous and the X-ecutioners. Another headlining band that was involved big time was Limp Bizkit.

These are just some of the hot tours and concerts to look for this year. You can go to these and see for yourself. But in my opinion these are the hottest of the summer.
