I like to ride my bike. I have a mountain bike. It is purple. There are a lot of rules to follow when riding a bike. First you need to wear a helmet. The helmet is for your safety. You should ride on a bike trail. You shouldn't ride in the road. If you do ride in the road you have to be very careful that a car does not strike you. I like to go bike riding with my mom and sister. Bike riding is good exercise. You can burn a lot of calories. Some people ride a bike for hours. Some people use their bike to go to work. I really enjoy riding my bike.

In 1973 alcohol was the only drug schools needed to worry about. Today schools need to worry about so much more like steroids. Kids take Steroids because they want to be good in sports but some of them don't realize that this drug could kill you. Many schools are not concerned with steroids they are just concerned with alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and heroin. Some school administrators don't want to invade a student's privacy with drug testing. Parents are given information on Steroids to talk to their kids at home about it and health classes are required to talk about the use of Steroids.

At high school kids in the weight room could be tempted to take steroids. Parents with kids going off to college face the very uncomfortable feeling that their kids might use steroids on campuses. Schools ask people to come and talk to the kids about alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs including steroids. Here are some signs of men and women on steroids:

There are all kinds of rules for swimming in pools. I will tell you the rules for swimming. First, you should NOT run in the pool area. Second, you should NOT roughhouse in the pool. Third, there is no smoking allowed in the pool area. Fourth, there is no eating or drinking allowed in the pool area. And fifth, please make sure that all little kids who can't swim wear life jackets so they won't drown.

There is also no pushing or shoving someone in the pool. Someone might drown if that person doesn't know how to swim.  Swimming is fun, but it is also dangerous, so be careful!!! Death can occur if someone is in the pool and he/she doesn't know how to swim.  If you can't swim very well, do not go on the diving board.
