1999: The current American President, William Jefferson Clinton, is suspected of lying to a Grand Jury regarding inappropriate behavior with a White House Intern, and impeached. Clinton was found not guilty of High Crimes and Misdemeanors during the trial.
2000: Y2K The world survived without any major technical catastrophes.
